2026–2027 Python Class

We at Wichita Coding Academy are delighted to offer Python classes for the 2026–2027 academic year! Building on the introductory course, we now offer two levels — Python 1 for students starting fresh, and Python 2 for students continuing their Python journey. Classes run throughout the school year.

Course Levels

  • Python 1 is for beginners — no prior programming experience needed.
  • Python 2 is for intermediate and advanced learners continuing their Python journey.

Recommended Age Group

  • Middle/High school students, recommended age 12 and up
  • University students
  • Adult learners

What to Bring

Hardware:

  • A personal laptop (Windows, Mac, or Linux), fully charged.
  • (Recommended) Laptop charger.

Software:

  • Google's Colab (online), or Python SDK and VS Code installed on laptop.

Schedule and Class Size

Date and Time

Classes run throughout the 2026–2027 academic year:

  • Python 1: Monday/Wednesday, choice of 4:30 – 5:30 pm or 7:00 – 8:00 pm.
  • Python 2: Monday/Wednesday, 5:45 – 6:45 pm.

Location and Parking:

  • In-Person: Learning Lab Wichita (703 E Douglas Ave Ste 250, Wichita, KS 67202).
  • Parking: Use the ramp to drive up to the second floor, where our classroom is located.

Class Size:

  • Maximum: 10 students per session.
  • Minimum: 2 students per session (sessions not meeting the minimum may be canceled, with options to switch or receive a full refund).

Cost:

  • Python 1: $200.00 per student, per month.
  • Python 2: $200.00 per student, per month.

Tips for Success:

  • Practice regularly after class—programming skills improve with consistent practice.
  • Class notes will be provided after each session. Revisit the notes, type the code, and experiment to deepen your understanding.

Policies:

Payment:

  • Payment is due by the 10th of each month.
  • Accepted methods: Cash (a physical receipt will be issued) or check payable to Wichita Coding Academy. Venmo and other online payment options are coming soon.

Cancellation:

  • You can cancel the training subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid month; fees already paid for the current month are non-refundable, but no further payment will be due.
